They may soon be calling Massachusetts the trophy rack state, as not only is a non-typical bow bag buck of national dimensions being scored, but now an unbelievable second non-typical animal has been downed.

Bill Sniezek of Adams forwarded a report that Craig Luscier of Dalton downed a 24-point whitetail deer by shotgun but the majority of tines are tall, reach-for-the-sky points, sprinkled with lesser ones of course.

Outdoor writer Gene Chague, a Johnny-on-the-spot when the animal was being checked, said with a little luck the animal could have had even more tines.

An outstanding writer, Gene indicated that perhaps additional points had been broken off and others may have fallen short of the size they must reach to count.

It marked the first shotgun score for Craig, normally a bow hunter.  Click Link Below For Full Story!
